Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan posted a statement on his Facebook page, which reads:

“Starting today, another triage center for patients with suspected coronavirus disease (admission, diagnosis and transfer) will be launched on the basis of the National Burn Center. Until now, only “Nork” Infectious Diseases Hospital performed such a function.

The new center currently has 65 beds and 9 more resuscitation beds. In a few days, another 58 beds will be added. In total, we will have an additional 132 beds to solve this problem.

I would like to emphasize that the center will not provide outpatient services, but will be guided by a special triage, on the basis of which the Yerevan ambulance will transport patients to the center.”
