The number of people who recovered from the coronavirus in Shirak region is 91. In the past two days 27 citizens have been discharged from Gyumri Infectious Diseases Hospital. As of 18 May, 45 patients are being treated for coronavirus at the Infectious Diseases Hospital, 38 of whom are residents of Shirak region. 26 patients are being treated in the capital.

At the moment, 161 citizens have instructions for isolation and self-isolation in Shirak region. From March 1 to date, 1567 samples have been tested at the regional centers of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention in the medical institutions of the region, and from 12 to 17 May, 244 samples were examined in Gyumri.
