Facebook user Hovik Hunanyan told live on his Facebook page that they have been taking Grandpa Artush, who has been known since April 24, to a temporary apartment to renovate his dilapidated apartment.
“We will renovate the apartment with friends. During that time, he will live in his relative’s house in Avan,” he said.
He also appealed to all citizens to help solve the problems of Grandpa Artush in the apartment, where, according to him, there is no electricity, gas or water. It should be noted that 82-year-old Artush became famous when, on 24 April, he tried to go up to the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial with flowers in his hands to pay tribute to the memory of the Genocide martyrs. The police did not allow him to go, which caused a wave of criticism among the public. As a result, at two o’clock in the morning, on the instructions of the Prime Minister, a policeman accompanied him to the memorial, where Grandpa Artush bowed flowers at the eternal fire.
