Spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health Alina Nikosoyan informs:

“On 17 April, a case of death was registered. The 75-year-old patient had coronavirus disease, confirmed bilateral infiltrative pneumonia. The woman also had chronic diseases that accompanied it: hypertension of III degree, obesity of II-III degree. Acute respiratory failure III degree, distress syndrome, atherosclerosis, mainly due to cerebral coronary artery disease, developed during treatment.

We have 47 new cases of coronavirus disease and 121 recovered.”

Notably, as of 18 April, there are 20 deaths due to coronavirus in the country.
