At the 16 April sitting, the government made a decision on the thirteenth measure to neutralize the economic consequences of the coronavirus.

The aim is to support the socially vulnerable families facing social problems as a result of the difficulties caused by the spread of coronavirus.

The program was presented to the members of the executive by the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Zaruhi Batoyan.

The beneficiaries of the event as of April 2020 are the families entitled to family and social benefits.

Support is provided to each of the above families at a rate of 50% of their benefits, of which:

• 70% is provided to the family by cash payment, together with the payment of April benefits,
• 30% is transferred as a payment for the electricity consumed by the subscriber, and in case of not being a beneficiary’s subscriber, the amount is provided to the beneficiary in the amount defined by sub-clause 1 of this clause.

The amount is transferred to the electricity company in the name of the beneficiary family of each subscriber. At that, in case of the beneficiary’s debt, that amount is directed to the repayment of the debt of the resident subscriber, and in case of its absence, it is registered as a prepayment.
