Doctor-Epidemiologists working at the Border are included in the List of People Performing Particularly Hard Work

At it’s the 19 March sitting, the Government amended the Decree N 1698-N of 2 December, 2010, which eliminated the discrepancies between a number of legal acts and the current Charter of the RA Health and Labor Inspectorate. The latter emerged in the process of restructuring of the Health Inspectorate of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia which was reorganized into the Health and Labor Inspectorate of the Republic of Armenia.

According to the decision, the medical epidemiologists of the border inspection posts were included in the list of employees performing heavy, harmful, especially heavy and especially harmful works.

As a result, physician-epidemiologists at border checkpoints are entitled to at least 50% in addition to of their salary remuneration under Article 183 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Armenia.

The draft decision was put into circulation in the fourth quarter of 2019. .It has been developed by the Office of Coordination of Inspection Work and the Health and Labor Inspectorate of the Republic of Armenia.
