Minutes ago, the Government of the Republic of Armenia declared a state of emergency, due to coronavirus pandemic.

Iravaban.net presents the government’s decision to the public.

It is prohibited to organize, hold and participate in assemblies and strikes throughout the Republic of Armenia.

The organization, conduct and participation of public events in the areas defined by the decision of the Commandant shall be prohibited.

It should be noted that Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan was appointed the Commandant.

Public events are the following events with the participation of 20 and more people:

1) concerts, exhibitions, performances, theatrical performances and other sports, cultural, educational events,
2) entertainment activities,

3) festive and commemorative events, including, but not limited to, birthday (wedding), wedding (engagement), funeral arrangements,

4) Other events qualified as a public event by order of the Commandant.

That is, individuals can organize funerals, birthdays, weddings with participation of up to 20 people.
