Today, attorneys of the RA celebrate the 101st anniversary of the establishment of attorneys’ institute. Advocacy as an institutional system providing legal assistance was first introduced in Armenia in 1918, during the First Republic of Armenia.

Attorneys, lawyers and a number of high-ranking officials attended the event.

To promote effective work with advocates and raise public awareness, President of the Chamber of Advocates Ara Zohrabyan presented diplomas and awards to “Tracing the Crime” program of “Kentron” TV, program “Your Advocate” of the Public Radio, and to Iravaban.net news website operated by the Armenian Lawyers’ Association.
