Court hosted the Students of YSU Faculty of Law and Masters Degree Students in Journalism

The interest in the practical application of judicial power and professional nuances a number of students from the YSU Faculty of Law and Masters degree in Journalism, yesterday, visited on their own initiative the Erebuni District Court of the First Instance. This was reported by the press service of the Supreme Judicial Council Staff.

Judge Yerem Yesoyan hosted the students in the courtroom. Further he conducted conversation-lecture introducing them the civil court proceedings, the application of lawsuits, applications to court proceedings, various civil litigation issues, and rules of ethics of speeches in court proceedings.

In his speech, the judge also referred to the electronic option of assigning the cases, presented the legal acts regulating it, and the corresponding decisions of the Supreme Judicial Council.

Students were interested in the practical application of specific legislative norms, the number of defamation and insult lawsuits, and judicial reform.

Judge Yerem Yesoyan provided comprehensive answers and practical advice to all the questions rose by the students, and highlighted the practical steps taken by the Supreme Judicial Council to introduce an e-justice system and the need to investigate alternative cases separately, which would significantly alleviate the workload of the courts.
