The inauguration ceremony of the Prime Minister and newly appointed ministers has completed.

President Sargsyan congratulated the Prime Minister and all the new members of the Government. “I congratulate the Prime Minister, the Government and our people,” he said.

Notably, this was the first time when the inauguration of the members of the government is being held solemnly, Nikol Pashinyan also touched upon it. “I believe that the ceremonial nature of the ceremony is very important, swearing to the people. I am a prime minister for 13 days already and it was very important for me to analyze the course of these 13 days while reading the text of the oath, and I am happy that I have acted exactly as it is intended in the text of the oath,” the Prime Minister said.

During the talk with journalists, the sides also touched upon the coming programs of the government.

“Early elections are a priority for us, but that does not mean that it is the only issue we have to solve. The government should act normally. The government has and will have long-term plans, which does not mean that one contradicts the other. After all, in the snap elections, this government will also act, and it is another issue in what format it will act,” Nikol Pashinyan said.
