Staying abstained from evaluating the ongoing processes in Armenia, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh expresses their deep concern about the stability and security of the country.

The Defense Ministry of the Republic of Artsakh declares that the army is an apolitical structure having main task is to ensure the security of the country’s borders. The army will function and will act in accordance with the law regulating the defense sector exclusively.

At the same time, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh strictly condemns all attempts to involve the army in political processes and warns about the legal consequences of such actions.
