Since this morning, the MP Nikol Pashinyan has organized an action to block a number of important streets Yerevan, paralyzing traffic and restricting the constitutional right to free movement of hundreds of citizens.
The police have issued a statement:
The Police of the Republic of Armenia warn that such actions can cause crimes against life, health and property of citizens.
The Police of the Republic of Armenia once again clarifies that the right to peaceful, but non-violent group strikes is not absolute, and may be subject to restrictions by proportionate police actions resulting from the situation, up to taking a decision to terminate the strike.
