Armen Sargsyan was elected the 4th President of Armenia

Today, on March 2, Armen Sargsyan was elected President of the Republic of Armenia.

101 MPs out of 105 participated in the voting. 1 ballot paper was recognized invalid.

90 MPs voted for and 10 against Armen Sargsyan’s candidacy.

Armen Sargsyan has been nominated for the post of the President of Armenia with a written statement of 65 MPs.
