At the executive session he Prime Minister gave new instructions on rising efficiency of the judicial cases during the distribution processes and reduction of the duration of examinations of judicial cases duration.
The problem is that the Government has touched on the duration of the examination of the judicial cases on June 29, and gave recommendation on submitting solutions for alleviation of the courts’ workload. Karen Karapetyan mentioned that the Minister of Justice had informed about the process of elaborating relevant legislative amendments for that purpose, also noting that they will be submitted to the government within the deadlines. At the same time, as a result of the study of law enforcement practices formed in relation to judicial cases, as well as distribution of cases between the judges, some legislative and practical issues were raised.
“On the one hand, the arrangements of distribution of the court case allow to overload different judges of the same court rather disproportionately, and on the other hand, postponing of the court proceedings takes place in the widest range of jurisdiction, and in many cases without having clear explanations,” Karen Karapetyan said,
The Minister of Justice was instructed to examine and present within a two-month period explanations of the reasons for the delay of the court sessions, as well as on distribution of the court cases among the judges. In addition to present recommendations on the instruments ensuring resolution of the civil cases, which exceed the certain summary threshold, in a short period of time.
