Yerevan Delegation Spent Much More Money on Food and Hotel Accommodations than on the Furniture Contributed to Artsakh

Earlier, Iravaban.net has written that from 1 to 3 July a delegation from Erebuni administrative district of Yerevan left for Artsakh to strengthen educational and cultural relations, share experience and show technical and furniture assistance. “Elita ESVE” company paid 2.9 million AMD (approximately 6000 USD) for transportation, food and hotel accommodations for two nights in Artsakh. The 2-day-business-trip organized for 12 delegates (including 2 drivers) to Artsakh cost 500 USD per person.

Within the frames of this visit various types of furniture were contributed to Artsakh. To Iravaban.net’s inquiry The Chief of Finance Department of Staff of Yerevan Municipality V. Arevshatyan replied that 4 benches with “Yerevan- Hadrut” script and 4 garbage cans were contributed to NKR Hadrut region, totally worth 960.000 AMD.
Yet in 2012 a big noise was made over the price of the above mentioned benches: it turned out that the Municipality paid 165.000 AMD for per bench, and 75.000 AMD for per garbage can.
Nonetheless, besides the benches and the garbage cans3 TV sets worth 480.000 AMD, a copier worth 108.000 AMD, a computer worth 349.000 AMD, beddings cost 150.000 AMD and gym furniture cost 100.000 AMD were contributed to the Hadrut city administration and military units.
All in all, furniture worth 2 million 147 thousand AMD was contributed, i.e. much more money was spent on the transportation, food and hotel accommodations than on the contributed furniture.
To our previous inquiry why specifically each member of the delegation was included in the list and what they did there, V. Arevshatyan gave a very incomplete answer.

So one may conclude that expenses are made, the effectiveness of which at least are suspicious.
