A criminal case on the death of the parturient was initiated at the Investigative department of Erebuni and Nubarashen Administrative districts of RA Investigative Committee of Yerevan city. On 27 July , 2 days after the cesarean cession Mari Margaryan died at “Erebuni” medical centre, with “Hellp syndrome two-sided pneumonia” diagnosis.
It turned out that M. Margaryan Had had a high temperature for 4 days, but Sh. Bakhshhyan, doctor carrying out medial help and services at “Shengavit” Medical centre, ought to hospitalize the woman, denied to fulfill her responsibilities. As a result of remorseless treatment M. Margaryan diet on 29 July, and the next day her newborn daughter also died.
A criminal case on incident was initiated at the Investigative department of Erebuni and Nubarashen Administrative districts. A forensic examination is set to find out the reasons of the death.
By the instruction of the president of RA Investigative Committee A. Hovsepyan, the preliminary investigation of the criminal case continues in the proceeding of Yerevan Investigative department.
Necessary investigative means are undertaken to provide a multi-faceted and complete examination of the case.
