As we have previously informed, the transportation expenses of a two-day-visit to Paris from 3 to 5 July made by the government delegation headed by the Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan cost approximately 31,5 million AMD. We have written on 5 July that as a juridical basis for this business trip is mentioned 539-A decision made on 26 June by the Government, which has been printed neither in the website of the Government, nor in any source of juridical documents.
Examining the purchases, we see that the delegation headed by the Prime Minister left for Paris with luxurious gifts, as in the case of the visit to Prague.
Particularly, 5 bottles of 30-year-old «Kilikia» cognac with wooden souvenir boxes were bought from “Arteksim” CJSC, with a general price of 1 million AMD.
12 bottles of 10-year-old “Akhtamar”, 6 bottles of 10-year-old “Dvin”, 12 bottles of 20-year-old “Nairi” and 6 bottles of 15-year-old “Tonakan” cognacs were bought from “Agulis Mek” CJSC, with a general price of more than 1 million AMD.
3 handmade carpets on a cotton frame were bought from “Mergeryan Carpet” company with a general price of 4 million AMD.
A ”Majestic Ararat” canvas on a wooden etched frame with 90*94 dimensions worth 1 million AMD was bought from artist Shmavon Shmavonyan.
A simple calculation shows that the Prime Minister left for Paris with 7 million AMD worth souvenirs.
