44-year-old Tigran Madoyan is accused for taking a bribe from a student for writing a course paper and putting a passable mark. “Datalex” judiciary portal informs that the case is being investigated in the Court of General Jurisdiction of Shirak marz and is headed by the judge Harutyun Movsesyan.
Pursuant to the condemnatory inference Lieutenant Colonel T. Madoyan was appointed as a senior lecturer in the Military Chair of Gyumri State Pedagogical Institute. In pursuance of the corresponding decision of the Head of the Institute’s Military Chair he was appointed as a Methodist-Director of the pedagogical practice at Scholl N. 29 of Gyumri for the 5th year distance learning students of the Faculty of Physical Training and Primary Military Training.
Being aware that the student of the above mentioned faculty R.G. did not attend the practice lessons, had many absentees, as a result of which got non-passable marks, demanded a bribe to fulfill illegal activities for the benefit of the bribe-giver.
Particularly, instead of informing about R.G.’s absentees to the Practice Department, on 8 December 2014 he demanded 60.000 AMD bribe from R.G. himself for writing a course paper, marking positively the practice results and providing appropriate marks in the journal. Note: The suspect or the accused of the alleged offence is deemed innocent unless his or her innocence is proved by virtue of the effective court verdict in the manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia.
