It is already 10 days that Baghramyan Avenue is blocked: people are struggling to cancel the decision on electricity price hike. Today in the morning, employees of “Sanitek” company came and wanted to take back the company’s garbage cans. The demonstrators did not give back the garbage cans. Valery Osipyan, Deputy Chief of Yerevan Police also came to Bagramyan Avenue and told that they will not reach anything in this way and the activists themselves may remove the garbage cans. The Deputy Chief talks to one of the citizens, urging them to remove the cans, and then they will provide the demonstrators with iron barricades, placed at the policemen. Valery Osipyan assured that after removing the garbage cans the police will not apply to force, and he also suggested moving to Liberty square, telling them that he himself will accompany them. He told that after removing the cans water cannon will be used to wash the street. The policemen told that they will clean the avenue together with demonstrators, so that they would feel the police is with them.
