The operation of the woman injured as a result of the incident at Parinatology, Obstetrics and Gyncology Department of Republican Hospital ended in “Armenia” Republican Medical Center: the Ministry of Health reports
The patient was moved to “Armenia” Republican Medical Center in critical condition with perforating segmental wound of gunshot.
During the operation which last for 3 hours important surgical treatment on craniocerebral injury has been taken. It was found out that the woman has fragmentary fracture of the nape bone, sinus injury, intracerebral bruise the left hemisphere of the cerebellum and contusious centre. The hemorrhage is stopped and hematoma is removed. The operation was ended successfully. The doctors assess the woman’s condition as critically stable. In the postoperative period the artificial respiration is kept. It is impossible to assess the level of conscious because the patient is under the influence of soporifics.
