Today the Prosecutor general of the RA Gevorg Kostanyan and the Prosecutor General of NKR Arthur Mosiyan visited the Academy of Justice.
The guests, Prosecutors General of Armenian and NKR, and the deputy Justice Minister of the RA, the Chairman of the Management Board of the Academy of Justice Emil Babayan accompanied by the Rector of the Academy Ruben Melikyan made a tour in the building of the Academy of Justice, got acquainted with the conditions, and visited the lecture rooms. The Prosecutors General also entered the room where at that time the written examination on “Professional Ethics of the Prosecutors” of 16 candidates to prosecutors was being held. Stressing the extreme importance of knowledge in modern times, Gevorg Kostanyan, urged the audience of the Academy to study well, and constantly improve their knowledge and keep abreast of the development of legal science.
Then they held a meeting during which the work carried out by the Academy was presented. The participants talked about the future plans putting special emphasis on vocational training and training-related issues.
The guests were interested in academic progress of the five candidates to prosecutors from the NKR, who currently study at the Academy, and mentioned that NKR needs exceptionally qualified and trained professionals. These people will supplement the staff of NKR prosecution after graduation.
At the end of the meeting the parties expressed hope that the fruitful cooperation will provide new development opportunities.
