The delegation of the RA Investigative Committee participated in the seminar on “Investigation of Official Corruption Cases and their Prevention”, which was held on 11 through 15 May 2015 in the City of Prague, the Czech Republic.
The participants discussed the questions referring to the peculiarities of investigation of such crimes and introduced the national legislation.
The delegation of the RA investigative Committee included 4 representatives: Samvel Simonyan, Head of the Shirak Marz Investigative Department, Tatul Shushanyan Head of Lori Marz Investigative Department, Vardan Smbatyan, Head of the General Military Investigative Department and Karen Khachatryan, Head of Armavir Marz Investigative Department
The Delegation of the RA Investigative Committee held meetings with the with the US Ambassador to the Czech Republic, the Independent International Organization on Anti-Corruption Monitoring, and the Chairman of the Working Committee on Fight Against Corruption and discussed the issues on cooperation and exchange of experiences in the fight against crime.
