On 12 May, at 11:05 am local time, the National Seismic Protection Service of the Seismological Network of MTA recorded a 7.0 magnitude earthquake with the geographic coordinates of 27,830 north latitude and 86,140 eastern longitudes (Nepal) on the depth of 10 kilometers.
The underground shaking measured magnitude at the epicenter was 9-10 points.
