500 thousand AMD is the strictest fine of the road traffic. According to the RA Code of Administrative Violations, drivers will be fined in the strictest way in two cases.
Thus, according to part 5 of article 124.4 of the aforementioned Code, drivers who exceed the defined velocity of traffic by 81 km per hour or more, will be punished the strictest. In such cases, the person who committed the violation, will be fined by the minimal salary multiplied by 500, that is, by 500 thousand AMD. We would like to mention that this fine was defined as a result of changes and additions made in the Code that entered into force on July 26 of the current year.
It is necessary to remind that defining an administrative penalty the organ (official) which makes decisions, has to reduce 10 km per hour from the index on the speedometer for its possible fault.
The other legal violation refers to Compulsory Insurance of Motor Third-Party Liability. Counting a vehicle without presenting a current Compulsory Insurance of Motor Third-Party Liability contract or allowing the import of vehicles in the territory of RA by means of driving them without a Compulsory Insurance of Motor Third-Party Liability, if the presentation of the Compulsory Insurance of Motor Third-Party Liability contract (having a Compulsory Insurance of Motor Third-Party Liability contract) is a necessary condition defined by law for counting a vehicle (allowing the import of vehicles in the RA territory), causes a penalty against the corresponding official by the minimal salary multiplied by 500.
