Members of the Civil Society should be involved in process of drafting the text of Constitutional reforms. Ms Haykuhi Harutyunyan, President of the “Protection of Rights without Borders” NGO thinks.
“Participation is not an endorsement expressed exclusively in pronouncing each provision of the proposed concept, just in the contrary, realization of participation right in the process of drafting the text means that the opinions and concerns should be recorded,” Ms Harutyunyan said at the seminar discussion “The Role of the Civil Society in the Process of Constitutional Reforms.”
According to the NGO President, opportunity for participation is exceptional in the sense that it is excluded for the civil society in other electoral processes.
