OSCE Yerevan Office and Armenian Young Lawyers Association signed a cooperation agreement. In the framework of the agreement the OSCE Yerevan Office co-finances the implementation of “Multi-Faceted Anti-Corruption Promotion” project implemented with funding from the European Union.
The main directions of the project are:
1. to strengthen the monitoring and watchdog capacity of CSOs,
2. to increase effective CSO oversight of the government’s anti-corruption reforms and legal and justice reforms strategy 2012-2016,
3. to establish sustainable CSO-Government dialogue on the strengthening of anti-corruption institutional mechanisms.
In the framework of OSCE Yerevan Office co-financing the capacity of the CSOs Anti-Corruption Coalition will be strengthened through organizing anti-corruption events in the RA marzes and by providing adequate legal assistance to CSOs aimed to promote the performance and efficiency of their monitoring activities. It is anticipated to promote the development of the project section of Iravaban.net website as well.
The project is implemented by the “Armenian Young Lawyers Association” NGO and the partner organization “Freedom of Information Center” NGO. Project Budget is 15.760 EUR. The project duration is seven months, from 15 April to 15 November 2015.
