Today, Zhirayr Sefilyan, the leader of “The Centennial without this Regime” movement, Gagergin Chugaszyan, the President of “Founding Parliament” Initiative, Varuzahn Avetisyan, the Vice-President of the initiative, MPs of the “Funding Parliament” Initiative Pavel Manukyan and Aram Hakobyan, as well as the member of the same initiative Gevorg Safaryan were brought to the RA Investigative Committee by the officers of the RA NSS.
The supporters and the relatives of the arrested including the sons of some of them, waited for them in front of the Investigative Committee building for more than an hour. However the arrested could not approach their children. The Defenders group joined them in the building of the Investigative Committee.
FP member Vardan Avetisyan considered the fact as illegal and funny. “The NSS officers brought our friends with such atrocity as if they had arrested at least the members of Osama bin Laden’s band. Whereas the most criminal and illegal persons are those who implement law. At the same time each of our boys is the most law abiding and moral personalities,” he said.
