On 31 March, Armen Rustamyan, the head of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation – Dashnaktsutun Faction of the National Assembly wrote a letter to the RA Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, as an answer to the Prime Minister’s offer on including the Armenian Revolutionary Federation – Dashnaktsutun in the Anti – Corruption Committee Council. We present the whole letter.
“TO THE PRIME MINISTER OF ARMENIA H. ABRAHAMYAN
Respected Prime Minister,
Thank you for your offer made by 01/41.1/4250-15 note on 19.05.14. For now we refrain to accept the offer to include a representative of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation – Dashnaktsutun in the Anti – Corruption Committee Council created by Decision 165.
Considering the systematic and thorough struggle against corruption as a priority, on different occasions we presented offers of forming an anti – corruption organ, which ensure the public trust and independence, but the suggestions were neglected.
However, taking into account the provision of 19.05.14 made by 511-A Decision of the RA Government and approved by the RA NA, according to which “The Government of the Republic of Armenia will provide the complete accessibility of the open information, the formation of stable connection and ongoing dialogue among the civil society, state organs, and public institutions”. In this phase we will give ourselves the right to present distinct offers and alarms, thus supporting the anti – corruption struggle.”
