About an hour before Parliament of Cyprus unanimously passed the Law Criminalizing Denial of the Armenian Genocide. Arsen Babayan, Head of the Public relations and Information department of the RA National Assembly, who currently is in Cyprus informed to Iravaban.net.
Under the new law the persons who would deny the Armenian Genocide will be sentenced to 5 years in prison and a fine of 10 EUROs.
It is due to mention that the Armenian delegation headed by Galust Sahakyan, the President of the RA National Assembly is on an official visit in Cyprus.
