On March 26 we informed that during the investigation stage of the criminal case in Special Investigation Service, according to Article 178, paragraph 1, point 3 of the RA Criminal Code, in February, 2015 Garik Aleksanyan was accused of prearranging a deal introducing himself as a deputy Prosecutor General Hovik Babayan, who was then a convict at the RA “Vardashen” penitentiary, under the pretence of supporting the advocate of the Chamber of Advocates of RA, for appointing him in the prosecution office, as well of giving fake promises connected with prospect to get a job, borrowed money, with promises to furnish the house of Deputy Prosecutor, and by deceiving robbed large-scale amount of money in the amount of 15000 USD and a cell phone with apprise of 130000 AMD. As a precautionary measure Garik Aleksanyan was arrested.
