The Draft RA Law on the “Protection of Personal Data” were discussed at the Parliamentary Hearings
On 18 February, the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs of the RA NA organized parliamentary hearings to discuss the Draft RA Law on the “Protection of Personal Data,” The Press Service of the RA NA informs.
Deputies and experts of information technologies attended the hearings.
Hovhannes Sahakyan, Chairman of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs of the RA NA mentioned that the draft was discussed and adopted in the first reading. The deputies had drawn a lot of questions and offered recommendations. Specifically there was a suggestion to organize parliamentary hearings and discuss the draft with the representatives of IT sphere as well.
