On 3 and 4 February at the 8th session of the UN Committee on Enforced Disappearances the first national report of the RA on implementation of the “Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance” International Convention was discussed. The Press Service of the RA MFA reports.
Deputy head of the RA police Headquarters, head of the Department of international relations, Police Colonel Hovhannes Poghosyan headed the Armenian delegation. Representatives of the RA Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as representatives of the International relations and Legal departments of the police were in the delegation as well.
Armenia has ratified the International Convention on the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance on 5 October 2010.
