On 19 January, Alexander Bastrykin, Head of the RF Investigative Committee arrived in Armenia on a two days working meeting on the invitation of the Head of the RA Investigative Committee. The discussions on the issues of investigation of the case on the murder of 7 members of Avetisyans’ family in Gyumri on 12 January were held.
The Investigative Committee informs that yesterday the Heads of Investigative departments of the two countries reached an agreement to carry out joint and mutually agreed activities on investigation of this case, aimed to ensure the comprehensive and complete investigation, “At the same time the parties stressed the importance of obtaining the proper evidences by keeping strictly to the conditions as prescribed by law. Agreement has been reached to form a coordinating body to regulate the efficiency of the work,” Sona Truzyan, assistant to the Head of the RAS Investigative Committee told to Iravaban.net.
