The Information department of the Special Investigation Service of the RA informs about the criminal case initiated under the requirements of Part 1 of Article 325 of the RA Criminal Code for providing a false passport to the Georgian citizen.
According to the evidences collected as a result of preliminary investigation, on 7 August 2008 a Georgian citizen received a false passport of the RA citizen from the Central Passport Service of the Passport & Visa Department of Police of the RA. The Georgian citizen used the passport till 2014. Preliminary investigation is in process.
Note: The suspect or the accused of the alleged offense is deemed innocent unless his or her innocence is proved by virtue of the effective court verdict in the manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia.
