On 17 October 2014 RA President Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree on terminating the competences of Areg Shushyan, member of the Commission on Ethics of High-Ranking Officials.
The decree, in particular, states: “Based on the 4th part of Article 41 of the RA Law on “Public Service”, I decide to terminate the competences of Areg Shushyan, member of the Commission on Ethics of High-Ranking Officials”.
According to the 4th part of Article 41 of the RA Law on “Public Service”, a member of the Commission on Ethics of High-Ranking Officials can resign by presenting a note to the RA President. RA President should accept the resignation of the Commission member within a month. The Commission Member can take the note on resignation back until the President accepts the resignation.
