According to the report of Paruyr P., a prisoner of “Nubarashen” Criminal-Executive Institution of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, a criminal case was instituted based on the materials prepared in the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Armenia in accordance with Part 1 of Article 308 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
Paruyr P., a Prisoner of “Nubarashen” Criminal-Executive Institution of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia reported that late in March, 2013 when being interrogated as a suspect to the criminal case reviewed in Malatia Investigation Department of the Principal Investigation Department of the Police of the Republic of Armenia he verbally informed the investigator of his illegal detention in the pawnshop, but the investigator did not record the above circumstance and did not proceed with it in the manner prescribed by the law.
A preliminary investigation is under way.
