A criminal case under Part 4 of Article 258 (Hooliganism committed with a weapon or another item used as a weapon) of the Criminal Code of the RA has been initiated on the fact of shooting near the court of Kentron Administrative District of Yerevan. The Public relations and Information Department of the RA Police informs that Hayk Kyureghyan is arrested.
Hayk Kyureghyan, citizen of Yerevan, born in 1983 climbed on one of the cars parked in front of the Kentron Court and shouted that the car is mine-strewn. He shot from a pneumatic weapon which he had with him towards the police officers who were carrying out their duties.
Earlier Iravaban.net informed that 5 police officers had suffered and were taken to hospital. Hayk Kyureghyan was brought to the Police Department of Kentron District. The weapon was confiscated.
