A criminal case initiated in the Prosecutor general’s Office of the RA under the Part 1 of Article 309 of the RA Criminal Code on applying intentional violence against Argishti Kiviryan and on prejudice upon his rights and legal interests by the policemen of the State Protection Service of Yerevan Police Department on 1 August 2013, is accepted to the proceeding of the RA Special Investigation Service.
The Information Department Special Investigation Service informed that the prejudicial inquiry is in process.
Note. Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty by the court verdict lawfully entered into force as prescribed by Criminal Procedure Code.
