The Prime Minister, Tigran Sargsyan today started the session referring to the justification of the sizes of fines in Armenia for the violations of traffic rules. He suggested to form a working group with participation of the RA Ministry of Justice, which will study the legislation, gaps and the international practice in that field, “So that our citizens accept that the legislation and the amount of fines that are used in the Republic of Armenia are just”. With the suggestion of the RA Ministry of Justice, NGOs working in the filed will also be involved in the working groups. To the question of the Prime Minister, “how long will it take to solve the problem?” the RA Ministry of Justice, Hrayr Tovmasyan, answered, “2-2,5 months will be enough.”
