In 2001, Volodya Saribekyan sold his car VAZ 2101 for spare parts to another person. During the conversation with Iravaban.net he informed that the number plate and the documents of the car are missing, neither has he known the name of the person who had bought the car.
Like thousands of other drivers, Volodya Saribekyan was fined by the Traffic police for the failure to sign an APPA car insurance contract.
“I applied to the” to the regional department of police and informed that the car does not exists any longer, and asked to provide a statement to take to the Traffic Police,” Volodya Saribekyan said.
The regional department of police provided the driver a statement informing that he had lost the technical passport and number plate of the car. Based on this statement the Traffic Police crossed that car off the register, taking to the account the fact that car had been discarded
At present the driver has appealed the decision of the Traffic Police on imposing a fine upon him.
