The event was realized within the framework of the “Budgets for Citizens” project, which is implemented with the financial support of the European Union, in collaboration with “Armenian Lawyers Association” NGO, “Center for Economic Development and Research” NGO, and “Agora Central Europe” NGO (Czech Republic).

At the beginning of the event, Josep Juric, Head of Programs of the Cooperation Department of the European Union Delegation, delivered a welcome speech. He emphasized the importance of civil society participation in the budgetary process, spoke about the importance of analyzing budget expenditures, evaluating results, and raising public awareness about reforms.

During the presentation of the sub-grant program results, the main issues of public education were discussed. Thanks to the work of the “Media for Education” NGO, public education expenditures, certification results, textbook quality, and other educational issues have been studied.

Anahit Mardoyan, representative of the Armenian Lawyers Association and the “Budgets for Citizens” program, also delivered a welcome speech, considering this collaboration effective.
