Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Secretary General of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization Lazăr Comănescu.

The Prime Minister noted that as the country that took over the presidency of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization from July 1, Armenia attaches importance to the consistent development of cooperation between the member states in various sectors of the economy. Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the role of the organization in the expansion of regional cooperation and added that the Armenian government is interested in the expansion of connectivity in transport, energy, telecommunications and other directions.
According to Lazăr Comănescu, they had effective discussions with the colleagues of the Armenian government in order to outline the priorities during the presidency of the organization and to implement them.
The interlocutors exchanged ideas on the “Crossroads of Peace” project of the Armenian government, the construction process of the North-South highway in Armenia, and issues related to regional economic cooperation.
