Polytechnic hosted the Regional Director of the British Council, the OBE Country Director Georgia and Eastern Partnership Cluster and Country Director of British Council Armenia’s Office

“Today, I hosted Mr. Adrian Chadwick, the Regional Director of the British Council, Mr. Zaza Pourtseladze, the OBE Country Director Georgia and Eastern Partnership Cluster, and Mr. Adde Hovasapyan, the Country Director of British Council Armenia’s Office, at the Polytechnic.” Mr. Gor Vardanyan, the Rector of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia.

“I presented the main directions and priorities of the activity of the NPUA. We discussed the reforms and various programs implemented by the university. In that context we talked about the projects contributing to the teaching of English and the internationalization of the university and the special role of the British Council in them. In particular the cooperation within the IELST center of NPUA, as well as about the two Creative Spark grant programs implemented by NPUA in the last 4 years.

We have recorded the successes of the jointly implemented projects.

In his turn, Adrian Chadwick, the Regional Director of the British Council, noted that NPUA, as the leading Armenian university, has been developing very close and successful cooperation with the British Council in recent years. The beneficiary of this cooperation is primarily the Armenian society, students, as well as the British Council itself.

At the end of the visit, the participants had the opportunity to visit the IELST Testing Partner Point of NPUA and learn about the work of the Center.”
