I have submitted about 15 Applications on that Platform: Lawyer was one of the First to file a Claim on the Electronic Platform

Iravaban.net spoke with lawyer Mr. Ghevond Papoyan about the creation of the “Electronic Justice” Unified Management System, the effectiveness of filing claims electronically, and the problems in the system. He was one of the first lawyers to file a claim through the platform.

According to him, the work in this regard has become somewhat easier, because the lawyers got free from paperwork.

“There was an application which I entered, then, when the application was to be returned, I entered the actions section to re-submit the application, the program showed red, and after that it was not restored, I failed to submit, and after that I submitted a new application.” Papoyan said.

According to him, he tried to call both the judicial department and those in charge for the program, he waited for approximately 10 days, and then in order not to face problems with the deadline, he submitted it according to the new procedure and the problem was solved. He also emphasized that if the lawyer is familiarized with the system, a positive change is noticed, because they are able to prepare the application in the evening, enter it using the program and no other technical problems arise in that case.

Ghevond Papoyan said: “At the moment, I have no problem, the process is going smoothly, I can enter the claim. Only at the moment I noticed a problem and it is related only with to my program, I’m composing the application, the final rows are not equal, the columns are lost, the application is disproportionate. I have submitted about 15 claims on that platform.”

Regarding the joint work with the courts, Ghevond Papoyan stated that there is no problem; they are working with the employees of the staff in this regard. The system provides an opportunity to send the application and attached documents within 7 days, to submit an additional application and petition in the specified window.
