On 22 March, the opening ceremony of the workshop “Green Energy and Smart Technologies” was held at the Institute of Energy and Electrical Engineering of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia. by The Institute of Energy and Electrical Engineering held the event in cooperation with “Tim Systems” CJSC.
Students have the opportunity to learn first-hand the latest developments in green energy and smart technologies.
Gor Vardanyan, the Rector of NPUA, said that problems will be given to the students during the workshop, so that they can think about these problems and propose innovation and solutions. “This is a real opportunity from the point of view of university-private cooperation. By participating in similar programs, students form academic knowledge and, they can become real professionals through the implementation of practical projects, and I believe that this workshop will serve its objective to the extent that it will give the professional community and the students an opportunity to be even more specific about their professional activities.”
According to Gor Vardanyan, Armenia is considered a solar country and it is necessary to start converting solar energy into electrical energy. “Team Systems” is one of the leading companies working in the electrical sector in Armenia.
According to director Nelly Malyan, they will introduce students to modern innovative technologies in the energy sector. “We will talk about smart buildings, alternative energy sources. We have great hopes that the students will be inspired by innovative technologies, one day they will become our colleagues and record great success.”
