“How does the state support the small and medium entrepreneurs? What are the legal conditions and financial opportunities for the SMEs in Armenia?” The small and medium entrepreneurs will be provided the replies to these and suchlike questions during the three-day seminar, which Konrad Adenauer Foundation organized in cooperation with the Economic Journalists’ Club and the Armenian Young Lawyers Association.
The Foundation has been organizing and implementing events on social and economic market relations for already 4 years in Armenia.
“We have chosen as target groups the small and medium entrepreneurs not only from Yerevan but from the marzes as well. We attach importance to raising the awareness in the marzes as well, on the assumption of the fact that there are many individuals who are unaware of their rights, obligations tax privileges that are provided to them,” Liana Marukyan, Head of the Yerevan Office Project of the Adenauer Foundation said.
“Seminars organized in such form are rather rare. A seminar where we journalists can provide the information gained during our work practice to you from the SME sphere and the business sphere in general; to get feedback from the lawyers and the law sphere as well as to get the issues you raised, which naturally do not reach to any state structure, or in case if the reach there is no due response,” Anna Baghdasaryan, Head of Economic Journalists’ Club said at the seminar.
“It is very important that this event will provide an opportunity to the representatives of the small and medium businesses to raise the problems of the sphere, as well as to learn about the existing governmental assistance programs, including assistance to legislative reforms, legal and financial support, because only through the joining all these efforts it will be possible to achieve success,’ Karen Zadoyan, President of the Armenian Young Lawyers Association said.
On the last day of the three-day seminar the small and medium entrepreneurs will visit an enterprise in Abovyan city to get acquainted with a successful sample of business management.
