Azerbaijanis dismantled Charles Aznavour’s Monument in occupied Stepanakert, other Monuments and Sanctuaries are also vandalized

The Azerbaijani administration has dismantled the monument of Charles Aznavour, which was erected on the occasion of the famous singer’s 100th birthday in 2022, located next to the Paul Éluard Francophonie Centre in – Stepanakert. The Artsakh State Council for the Protection of Cultural Heritage reported.

In the photos below, the Charles Aznavour monument and the same place in January. Earlier, the monuments of writer Hakob Hakobyan, national philanthropist Alek Manukyan, Russian dictator Alexander Myasnikyan, Soviet soldiers Admiral Isakov, Anatoly Zinevich, Kristafor Ivanyan and others were dismantled. The monument of Hero of Artsakh Ashot Ghulyan was also dismantled in the park of the same name in Stepanakert. We also learn from the materials published on the Internet that the graves of those who died in the Artsakh Liberation War are being vandalized as well.
