The President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, signed a decree on 27 December, which states:
“Guided by Article 5, Part 3 of the Constitutional Law “Rules and Procedures of the National Assembly”, Article 9, Parts 4, 5 and 8 of the Law “On the Corruption Prevention Commission”, Article 37 Part 1 of the Law “On Normative Legal Acts”, I order:
- To approve the individual composition of the Competition Board for the Selection of Candidates for the Vacant Positions of Members of the Corruption Prevention Commission:
1) Arusyak Julhakyan, Deputy of the National Assembly.
2) Artur Hovsepyan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister.
3) Sona Khalafyan, Acting Head of the Department of Ensuring the Activities of the General Assembly of judges and Court Staffs of the Judicial Department.
4) Nina Pirumyan, Secretary General of the RA Human Rights Defender’s Office.
5) Armen Asatryan, First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Advocates President.
- Repeal the Decree K – 239-А dated 8 September, 2023 of the President of the National Assembly “On forming a competition board for the selection of a candidate for the position of a member of the Corruption Prevention Commission and confirming the individual composition of the board and on revoking the order of the President of the National Assembly K-375-A dated 20 December, 2022”.
