In September-October of this year, 220 remains were moved from Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia, among which are mainly the victims of the explosion in the fuel warehouse. The International Committee of the Red Cross reported.
“We supported the evacuation of the wounded and those receiving medical treatment, as well as the reunification of families and the provision of dignified handling of the remains,” the message states.
It is noted that during that time 124 wounded and medical patients were transferred to Armenia.
About 2,500 people called or visited the ICRC office looking for missing relative and needing information.
“25 people in Karabakh were able to contact their relatives in Armenia and other countries through video calls and phone calls,” the message states.
