472 people forcibly displaced from Artsakh live in Arzni community (137 families). Ms Nelly Harutyunyan, secretary of Arzni Community’s staff, said this in a conversation with Iravaban.net.

“23 families were accommodated in the building of the “Arzni” sanatorium. In 2020, Artsakh residents also lived in the building of the sanatorium. As a result of the cooperation of the governor of Kotayk, the head of the Arzni Community and the Director of the sanatorium Mrs. Ruzanna Afandyan, some of those in need of accommodation were accommodated here,” Harutyunyan said.

The resort also provides 3 meals a day for residents. She said that negotiations were also conducted with other sanatoriums, but only Ruzanna Afandyan agreed to accept the people from Artsakh.
